Interview with Pro Basketball Player Zack Naylor

“Where are you originally from and how did you hear about the Tallahassee Southern Kings?” - Smith

“Im from Huston Texas. Before coming here I was in Moldova, Eastern Europe playing for a team called B.A.M. Basket. I heard about the Southern Kings through my agent. He was just sending my film around and then that’s when coach said he liked me and he brought me aboard.”  - Naylor

We are extremely lucky and happy to have you here. What do you think you bring to this team and what can we expect from you on the floor?”
- Smith

“ One of my greatest skills I bring to the team is my versatility. Im able to play inside, outside and stretch the floor. My high basketball IQ also allows me to read defense and make the right plays. You can expect all of these things when I’m on the floor.”

- Naylor

“Who would you say you mirror your game after?” - Smith

Paul George is a guy I’ve always studied, he has a smooth game and plays at his own pace so I try to model my game after him.” -Naylor

How would you describe your eating habits now that you’re a professional athlete? Would you agree that what you take in is just as important as working out?” - Smith

No junk food for the most part, I eat a lot of chicken and rice mixed with vegetables and drink a lot of water.” - Naylor

“Do you have a teammate that you workout with ? If so who is your go to guy when you want to put some work in at the gym?” - Smith

“Not at the moment due to practice but I usually do some body weight stuff in my room when I get free time.” - Naylor

We are very excited to see more of you in the games to come Zack. This is an exciting new journey for you and it’s going to bring a lot of attention for the Big Bend area. Good luck in your upcoming season and thank you for your time.” - Smith
